I always thought runners were different.
I thought I could get along with any runner because of the bond we share in working hard, pushing ourselves, and in that journey learning a bit about what hard work and perseverence means. In that way you know not to belittle another when they are trying to do the same as you.
Some people on this board are petty babies.
I suppose I have been suckered into being affected by some rando posts but I truthfully believe that some people who sit behind their computers and ridicule others on this board need a serious beating.
It takes no intellegence and gives no merit to belittle others, I learned that in the 1st grade.
I love the "If you run slower than X, you suck." type quotes. How do you determine this?
You behave this way because why? It makes you feel better? Do you actually think this point needs to be made? That people who can run this fast should just quit?
"Lets just get fatter civilized world. If you can't make it to the Olympic Trials you should just be a spectator"
People who act like this are a disgrace, period.
I don't understand how some people could be runners and have hostitlity, especially to other runners. I always thought runners just like me, no matter how good they were.
