What sort of training should i be doing for the track season if im aiming for under 4:05?
At present im 4 months away from start of competition and around 6/7 Months away from when i plan to peak.
I have been doing weekly sessions of:
20 x 200m(shorter recovery every week done from 60secs to 50secs at present) in 31s/32s
Another day with sessions along the lines of 12 x 300m with 90s rec OR 12 x 400m with 90s rec OR 10 x 500 with 90s rec
Hill Session - 12 x 200m up medium gradient with jog back recovery
Plus Steady Runs
In total around 45 - 50mpw
I was wondering in how i should adjust in training over the next few months in order to improve/Peak
