Could someone point out quality marathons taking place in late November & December?

Atlanta on Nov. 28; Raleigh, NC and Cal International in Sacramento, both on Dec. 8
do you have a location in mind?
have you tried marathonguide.com ?
Dallas White Rock generally has decent weather. The course is not super fast, but it isn't a mankiller either.
Dec. 1 or 8
I am in Virginia.
I'd say the farthest I would want to travel is Atlanta, which is 6-7 hours away from here.
I am not really a marathoner, but have been doing high mileage (for me) and some good long runs and am thinking - what the hell, it would be fun to try to cap off this great base phase I'm in with a marathon.
Hit 90 miles last week with a 2 hour long run. How well do you think that bodes for a marathon? Under 7 a mile would be nice.
Rocket City Marathon- Huntsville, AL December 14
Supposed to be a pretty fast course, usually good weather, and some solid runners tend to show.
There is prize money, I think 5 deep; not sure exactly how much.
Memphis Marathon - December 7
I hear this course can be pretty fast. After a year without it, the race will be held this year, with a prize purse totaling (I think) $50,000 +.
Silicon Valley is also in November in San Jose'.
Richmond Marathon - 9th November.
there is also the Marathon in the Parks in Montgomery county, Maryland
Tucson, AZ - early December
Don't forget Philly. November 24th.
Anyone have any comments on Tucson? I know the course is net downhill, and that the weather is generally good, but is there any effect from the modest altitude? I live at low altitude.
Thinking of going there in 2003.
Thanks to anyone with insight.
Silicon Valley is actually on 10/27
