We are flying into Portland on June 26th or 27th. What are the best transportation options to Eugene? Is there a time schedule for events yet? We don't want to miss the women's 10,000. Thanks

Just rent a car, it is only like a 2 to 2/12 hour drive straight down I-5.
You can bike in 2 days (I did so this past summer while biking the west coast)
I think he'd miss the women's 10k if they biked.

Thanks tx - although the "we" and the "he'd" are really "shes" - hope to see you at the Trials.
NBC and its cable broadcast partners will dictate to USATF & the USOC the final time schedule, as they've done in the past.
My guess is that the 10k will be around 830p-9ish, unless there's a compelling reason to have it earlier to take care of the east coast viewing audience.
Amtrak may work.
Portland to Eugene on Amtrak: 27 bucks.
I always take the Whiteboys Meth Express, aka Greyhound.

If you do rent a car, plan on ditching it in Eugene because there's very limited parking near the stadium.

If you can't walk a half mile then there's a problem.
