4 & 0!!!
4 & 0!!!
looking good so far, doubts 'bout cotton - missou's got something to prove and them hogs ain't got the most stable coaching situation right now. gotta love Mike Conley jumping in with the track angle!
4-0 is a great start, but don't get ahead of yourselves. It's not like you've beaten any stalwarts yet. Today will be pretty telling, with two of the Big Ten's top four going head to head with the SEC, though their best team is playing SC and the SEC's best team is playing Hawaii. Too bad USC and Georgia don't get to square off.
Congrats to having a conference full of really good teams. Unfortunately, a GREAT Buckeye team will be winning the National Championship beating an overrated two loss LSU team.
It's quite possible, though highly unlikely, that you will end up being correct that the Big Ten's second-best team will beat the SEC's second-best team in the consolation game otherwise known as the BCS chumpionship. However, I wouldn't bet that way.
now 5 - 0
Soon to be 5-1. Can't believe Mizzou was an underdog. They are one of the five best teams in the nation and may be second only to OU. They are about to hand the Razorbacks their worst loss of the year.
4 fumbles and 1 interception run back for a touchdown, along with 2 missed field goals...that is just pitiful Hogs.
SEC is 5-1. Florida should pull it out, and then Georgia and LSU are both favored...could end up 7-1 if all goes well.
Michigan apparently came to play. Has the feel of a game that will go to the wire. Florida will have to earn this one if they get a 'W'.
Right...like Illinois is actually better than Ohio State. Just because Illinois was the better team one week this year doesn't mean that they are the better team any other week.
But I agree that Georgia is better than LSU.
Anyway, I thought Wisconsin blew it today and Tennessee played very well. Wisconsin's defense was great until it actually counted (3rd and 4th down conversions) and they didn't even throw to their top receiver.
And hog, Arkansas' problem is that Missouri is about ten times better than they are. No more, no less.

Agreed. Mizzou is a final poll top 5 team. Sorry Jayhawk fans, but Mizzou should have been in Miami.
The only team that Mizzou cannot beat is OU. That's it. Frankly, if we actually were interested in finding out who is the best team in the country, we would take the BCS' top eight, play them off by high seed against low seed, and have a final bowl with the last two standing. Under that scenario as of the final regular season BCS standings, both MU and KU would get a shot.

Shouldn't totally discount Michigan. They only have two losses in the Big Ten this year, whereas Florida dropped three in the SEC.
Well, it's official. Mizzou just handed Arkansas their most lopsided loss of the year, worse than any SEC team was able to beat them.
Jeebus! Michigan! You can't give the game away when you're a major underdog...
Should be 42-21, not 28-28
Mike Hart is picking a bad time to learn how to fumble at the goal line. I think they still win, though.
Will Florida get kicked out of the SEC now that Michigan is going to kick their a$$?
SEC dominance? What a joke!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Michigan. Great way to end Carr's career. As for SEC-Big Ten bragging rights, looks like it's coming down to the "championship" game, though, if Illinois loses ugly tonight, it won't do much to bolster Big Ten preeminance. Funny how the Big 12 never gets mentioned, when the conference has three of the top eight and after Texas just pounded ASU.
SEC sucks!!! Fresno state could have beaten the SEC teams.
I think that given the low expectations of the Big Ten, the Purdue, Penn State, and Michigan wins, coupled with the surprisingly close games from Michigan State and Wisconsin should show that the conference isn't half bad. The best? Probably not. But pretty solid.
