I posted the original question believing Vigil to a T and wondering what was up with Deena.
The poster who showed what 5:01 pace is for 8k through 1/2 marathon was very helpful.
Looking at Vigil's calculation of vVO2 in Running to the Top, he calculated vAT during a VO2max test based on mm/l of lactic acid and speed on the tread mill.
How does this lab calculated anaerobic threshold compare to the pace that can be hold for 10-13 miles by a trained athlete like Deena?
