Opinion polls that make Georgia #2 etc. are a laugh, just entertainment. I think we need an NCAA playoffs like March Madness.

Um, No. Georgia has 2 losses, one against Tennessee who is playing LSU in the SEC championship. If you can't even win your conference championship you shouldn't be in the national title game. Maybe if we ever get a playoff system that could happen and could have merit.

Georgia lost to Tennessee on the road back nearly two months ago. They have since won six straight, including defeats of a #11, 18, and 23. They are the best in the SEC. USC lost to Stanford with an injured QB and Oregon on the road with a backup QB. They play either team again today, and they win.
Georgia has played a tougher schedule than WVU.
Sagarin- I like when you pretend to be unbiased. It is really funny. Also, I enjoy reading your football knowledge, which is really just taken from sportscenter and college football talking heads.
But continue, I enjoy watching you look dumb. Well not as much as watching other people post to argue with you, but almost as much.
looks like Vtech is number 4 now.
at the moment:
Missouri-
West VA-
Ohio State (by)
Virginia Tech now, 11-2 pt total moves them here.
Georgia (by)
Kansas (by)
LSU*
USC*
W/O Notre Dame or USC playing in the title game, television loses hugely this year. Too bad. That's what they get for having the Bogus Contest System.
I think Tech has a decent shot outside shot. IF Missiouri loses to Ok. and West Va ends up loseing to Pitt I think we have a better overall record than the other teams ahead of us...Ohio State- Did'nt beat anyone worth writeing home about execpt MichiganGeorgia- Did'nt even win thier conference or a even make the championship game...So If everything goes like the rest of this season then I would'nt mind seeing Va Tech play Ohio for the national championshipPlus I went to high school with Tyrod Taylor...lol so I'm a little bias

Tell me who I'm biased for. C'mon, tell me, besides CU, of course. Don't really watch Sportscenter much. The games take enough time as it is, even with DVR. But I like Kirk Herbstriet, I happened to catch him this morning, and he reiterated my own sentiment on USC that I've been spouting for MONTHS. Hard to copy a guy when the idea was disseminated on these threads for everyone to see back in September and October, eh?
I'm wrong ALOT. I also get it right alot. I told you Mizzou was the best team in the nation, oh some six weeks ago, and lo and behold they are currently #1. Telling you that KU would lose and that Illinois would beat OSU weren't impressive prognostications, to be sure, but they were correct nonetheless. Telling you that USC would be back in the hunt more than two months ago was the easiest and best prediction of all, especially after everyone wrote them off. Of course, they need to weather a UCLA team that they should be burying right now based on yards on the ground and field position.
So, tell me oh wise one, who is it that you root for? Must be Big East, ACC, or OSU. C'mon, make a call. I've never seen you before, unless you are using an alias. Tell us how it all unfolds, now that you've had 14 weeks to figure it out.
By the way, it's not really about bias. Of course, everyone has bias in who they root for. It's about being able to analyze objectively. It's being able to look at a team that is undefeated late in the season and saying, "You know what, they haven't played anyone yet and they are very beatable, even if the 'analysts' see it otherwise" and getting it RIGHT. It's being able to look at a team that has been decimated by injuries and not writing them off because everyone else is. It's about being able to do more than look at a scoreboard and a common opponent and determining who's the better team. It's about being able to evaluate strength of schedule, overall stats, margin of victory, opponent's opponents' record, and making an educate guess, none of which you've done, because it's far easier to launch unsolicited bombs from the sideline and condemn after the fact than to actually go out on a limb and make a call. I'm guessing we won't hear from you again, but hopefully that's my worst prediction, oh wise one. So, let's see your esteemed analysis, chump.

Well, so far everything is holding true to predictions, 3 for 3 so far.
-- Missouri defeats Oklahoma, goes to the BCS Championship as the Big XII champion.
-- West Virginia defeats Pitt, goes to the BCS Championship as the Big East champion.
-- Ohio State goes to the Rose Bowl as the Big 10 champion.
-- Virginia Tech defeats Boston College, goes to the Orange Bowl as the ACC champion.
-- LSU defeats Tennessee, goes to the Sugar Bowl as the SEC champion.
-- USC defeats UCLA, goes to the Rose Bowl as the Pac-10 champion.
-- Hawaii defeats Washington, earns an automatic bid as a top-12 team.
Georgia gets an at-large bid.
Kansas gets an at-large bid.
Arizona State gets an at-large bid (Florida will not get one because there are already 3 SEC teams).
The Fiesta Bowl has the first selection, selects Kansas.
The Orange Bowl has the second selection, selects Georgia.
The Fiesta Bowl has the third selection, selects Hawaii.
The Sugar Bowl has the fourth selection, selects Arizona State.
So the games will be:
Rose – Ohio State (Big 10) versus USC (Pac-10)
Orange – Virginia Tech (ACC) versus Georgia (At-large)
Sugar – LSU (SEC) versus Arizona State (At-large)
Fiesta – Kansas (At-large) versus Hawaii (Automatic)
BCS Championship – West Virginia (Big East) versus Missouri (Big XII)

That is amazing. No one else in the world could have predicted that even though those games are meaningless.
You will be wrong on the only game that matters. See you next month weariing my new National Championship Buckeyes shirt!!!
west virginia
Right now it is good to be a buckeye. (Except for their basketball team) Go Sooners and Pittspuke!!
Pittspuke just got screwed out of a touchdown!! Could be the most important call of the year!!
Pittspuke screwed again on a phantom holding call!!!
Somebody doesn't want WVU to lose this game. Better check the officials gambling habits!!!!!!!!!

Ohio State will have another game like last year, because WVU is faster and more talented than Florida was last year. Ohio State has not dealt with ANYONE like Pat White this year. If their great defense can somehow contain him, well there is Slaton and Devine to worry about. My bet is WVU by 3 touchdowns over OSU. If Mizzou beats Okla then they will deserve to be in the title game but I pick WVU to win by 10 points.
What a pile of horse sh*t.
Buckeyes by 10 over LSU after wvu chokes the big one against Pitt.
Suck on that Cash.
What is going to happen now if Mizzou loses? Ohio St. and Kansas are the two one loss teams. Neither have beaten any one substantial, and both lost their last game. The best two loss teams are Georgia(didn't make conference champs, on a roll, but lost to NR South Carolina), Oklahoma(Big 12 Champs, but bad losses to NR Texas Tech and Colorado), USC(Pac 10 Champ, but an abysmal loss to Stanford), Virginia Tech(ACC Champs crushed by LSU hurts head 2 head, but only legit losses to good teams at least) and LSU(SEC Champs, but losses to NR Kentucky and Arkansas). Then there's undefeated Hawaii who has played all cupcakes save Boise States who is barely ranked. It will likely be Ohio St. vs. LSU because Kansas' loss was untimely. If it was fair, I think these 8 teams would be in the remaining BCS games: Virginia Tech, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kansas, USC, Hawaii, Missouri, Arizona State(much as I hate the Pac 10 and want to give this to Florida).
Oh yeah I know West Virginia gets a bid, so likely Arizona St./Florida is left out, but the Big East really doesn't deserve one.

Ohio State Beat Michigan in their last game to earn their way into the championship game. Their loss was to Illinios who will be representing the Big 10 in the Rose Bowl.
