Yeah it was the travel agents fault and not Estes.
One time I wanted to go back home over Christmas but that travel agent sent me home in January instead. OH WAIT that is impossible. You tell the travel agent when you want to go. The travel agent doesn't tell you.
I remember hearing about the NYRR making a donation to the Estes and Latimer development fund just weeks before the trials bids were announced.
Whether this had anything to do with NYRR receiving the bid a couple weeks later or not, makes no difference, it was wrong.
I work in purchasing and I would be fired on the spot if I accepted anything during a bid process from one of the bidders. It doesn't have to be anything personal. If I accpeted something that would be for the betterment of the company from a bidder during the bid process I would be fired.
I am shocked that this was accepted behavior from USATF in light of the IOC scandals reguarding bids.

I would think this makes usatf both inept and corrupt
