Man, the SEC is such a tough conference, unlike the Pac 10
um, lets see, USC loses to very unranked Stanford in regulation. LSU loses to #17 Kentucky in 3 OT. I wonder which is worse?
Yeah dude... no comparison. Kentucky is actually a good team this year with a coach that has a tradition of doing well. Stanford is just Stanford...
This is neither rational or fair, but I take some enjoyment in watching LSU lose. It is one of the worst major state schools academically (its library reminds me of a community college library), and gives off all sorts of vibes of being a football factory with a school attached. Yes, I recognize it likely has a few good departments, and it is possible to get a decent education there, but really, if there is a place that reflects the backward priorities of a Division 1 football crazed culture, this is it.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Well does that now make TCU the best in the nation... because they just beat Stanford. and USC won but just laid another turd... again. At least LSU made Kentucky go to three OTs instead of being out fought in regulation... to Stanford. Kentucky could score endlessly against Stanford. Your use of a double standard is obvious. SEC upsets mean the conference sucks while upsets in the P10 mean it is a strong conference? Hardly. The P10 has no depth outside of there top 4 teams. The SEC goes 8-9 teams deep. Plus, USC and Cal will blow it and neither will play for the national title. Personally, if you lose at home to Stanford I think it would be silly to put USC in the title game.
