Best form:
Marathons: Geoffrey Mutai, so smooth. No wasted energy, just floating off the ground. Reminds be of Bill Rodgers.
Half marathons: Sammy Wanjiru:
10000m: Bekele
5000m: Bekele
1500m: Noah Ngeny
800m: David Rudisha, just so powerful and smooth. Very little energy wasted.
Steeplechase: Henry Rono
XC: the Ugandans the other day.
Most overrated: Seb Coe, leaned back too much. People always talk about him having great form. I don't see it.
Galen Rupp, too much on his toes. Very wasteful running style.
Most underrated: Having good running form is more about being efficient. Not looking pretty. Lasse Viren, and the Japanese come to mind.

I would say Viren has great form and smoothness.
The 1976 OG 5000m final showed he had speed on the last lap as well.

Salazar had some pretty ugly form himself.
Zerseney Tadese looks like his form is bad but he is still one of the best and one of my favourite runners. His shoulders are like literally iron.

Lelisa Desisa's form is not the best but obviously it works.
Cierpinski.

Gidamis Shahanga.
Strange form.
Geoffrey Kirui is underrated. Very smooth:

Love watching him beat Rupp, with a heel strike.
Moses Mosop and Galen Rupp both have excellent form.
Laura Muir too.

Rodgers' arm action has horrible.
Swaying side to side.
Nice catch. Not many people remember him. Ran down Jerome Drayton at the Edmonton Commonwealth Games. A lot of wasted motion.

What are you talking about? His torso was totally vertical, perpendicular to the track, which is text book.

This is my favourite Coe sprint finish. So easy, so fast.

Looks like he is slapping someone with his right arm lol.
