Vick gets the early lead and holds off Geb at the finish. Any thing longer than the 400 Geb wins easily.

No. Vick could win the 100 but Geb would over take by the 150 mark.
400 would be a walk in the park for Geb.
You are absoluely 100% correct, Mr. Conundrum!
Most people (non-runners) over-estimate how fast football players, basketball players, etc. are at 400M (or longer)...!?!
And/Or
They under-estimate how fast world-class (or national-class) distance runners are 400M...!!!!!
I believe Vick could take him if he was being chased by a dog...

You may be right. At the same token, I think college teams and even the NFL are quick to try and bring in elite sprinters on their teams because they assume they will do well at kick returning. Justlin Gatlin, Xavier Carter, Leonard Scott, John Capel and even Trindon Holliday have all tried their hands at football. Can you name any great football achievements of theirs (excluding HS)? Just because someone is fast doesn't mean they can or should play football. Being elite in a sport means you need to dedicate yourself to it. Sure a few people have gone pro in football and baseball... but was Deon Sanders even that great at baseball? Bo Jackson was just a freak of nature. Drew Henson isn't accomplishing much in either sport.
Especially for world class running... you really need to just focus on running. Michael I don't think could beat Geb for 400m. 100m I think he could... but that's about it.
Geb would win, but it would be a dog fight.
I think Geb would destroy him, assuming we are talking about Geb in his prime. Even now, Geb wins, no doubt. In his prime, Geb could've run a 49 400. No way Vick touches that, MAYBE a 51 but probably more like 52, 53, or 54. No way he runs 50 or faster, which Geb would certainly do.
These type of question is as stupid as asking who has a bigger dick?

I bet you'd rather have asked the latter, though

no, actually look at your every year Texas high school state meet and check out the consistency of 46-48 sec. talent. Someone like Vick who embarrasses DB's and LB's open-field, he probably can run a sick 400 as well. And trust me, a common person will not underestimate a distance runner's 400m speed. If you asked a common sports person how fast they thought Meb was over 400m, they would say probably pretty fast. They would think he would be fast over a 40 as well...
Pretty easy if you ask me.
Vick leads through 200 Meters and then get's shot by guard tower #2 for his escape attempt.
Geb could beat him with his last 400m of a 13:00 5k, let alone fresh out of the blocks.
