It's not on their schedule. It's a bummer because they have the fastest track in the nation and I love getting the chance to run there.

Can unattached athletes run at some of the UW meets? I'd like to do a 60m for fun. Anyone know?
There IS a last chance meet on their schedule for 2008:

This meet was cancelled in 2007.
Unattached athletes can run in most of the meets (a couple are invited teams/individuals only), on both Saturday and Sunday (the so-called open meets) but both have entry standards. As I recall the standards for 60 are 7.15 and 7.5 for Saturday and Sunday meets.
Even with standards, this place is a zoo. There are still a lot of heats of the 60 and it can be difficult to time your warmup. Before the standards, I can remember competing there when they had almost 50 (that's right, FIFTY) heats of the 60 and it took THREE HOURS just to get the 60 meters in! It is a very friendly place to run, but understand how crowded it is going in.
Thanks. I have watched meets there before. It's an amazing place. Can I just say that I've run 7.3 to do the Sunday meets? It's just mostly high schoolers and small/community colleges on Sundays right? Do you think they'll check on that? I don't think I'll be the slowest guy out there but I'll probably look like a fool out of the blocks. I'll look up the info.

Yes, I'd like to do the 35lb.weight throw just for fun as well. That would be a very interesting double: The 5000 and the weight throw.
My twig-like arms are actually quite strong.
