This meet is not as good as it used to be as Oregon is getting most of the teams now. Any word on who will be there? Besides Stanford, who are the top teams?

Stanford?
Invite?
Teams?
Oregon?
You probably aren't doing enough lactate threshold runs. Hmmmmmmm......I'm thinking you should start drinking more carbonated water before your daily/monthly long runs.
Here's what this weeks training should look like for you:
Monday: AM- 10 Miles, 9:00 pace
PM- 50x400 63sec, full recovery
Tuesday: AM- 20 miles easy
PM- 10 miles easy
Wednesday: AM- 10 Miles easy
PM- 16 Miles easy
Thursday: AM- 8 Mile Tempo, 5:10 pace
PM- 10x1000 2:45, 2:30 recovery
9 mile run after
Friday: AM- 15 Miles easy
PM- 20 Miles
Saturday: AM- 25 Miles
PM- Kentucky Fried Chicken
with warmups and what not, you should be around 170 for the week. Sunday you should just concentrate on icing stress fractures/nursing torn ligaments. If you do this correctly, there is no reason you and your husband shouldn't be able to conceive in the next month. Good Luck, and may the force be with you!!!
adams state, chico state, cal, ucsb, baylor and others.
This is a horrible week-end for the Stanford Invite. Paul Short, Roy Griak, Notre Dame Invitational, and Dellinger Invite are all going on. Shoot, Stanford used to send runners to Murray Keatinge invitational in Maine, which is also this week-end, or to Notre Dame (I remember Sara Bei and Ryan Hall winning it 3 or 4 years ago). Why is Stanford, a premier university and top-notch program having a crummy little invite when so much else is going on?
Tradition, I suppose...
Stanford is the one who changed their date a few years ago, to where it now matches up with Willamette, Dillinger etc... Just like Stanford keeps moving their track invit, which plays havoc w/ the rest of the meet schedules out there.
Willamette can't be too happy about that (along with the creation of Dellinger). A couple years ago they were drawing ranked teams A-squads, now they're lucky to get Oregon/Portland/Washington's C-teams
You can show up at other meets to your hearts delight. Stanford is the team to beat.
Why does it take Stanford so long to put up entries. Is it really that hard? They say they are limiting field size to 220 but won't tell coaches until Wednesday night if they are in or not. That sounds like a load of crap to me.
So when will Stanford put up entries.... Does it really take this long?
All a part of my plan!

Rembao left for Cal. Not sure who is in charge of the meet anymore, so no big surprise they're not on the ball.
