I agree. It seems that, as the prices of races have skyrocketed, the quality of many events has plummeted. I'm just about to the point of only entering races put on by people or organizations I know. Otherwise, there's too big a risk the race will be screwed up. Frankly, in recent years, I've only left races surprised if every thing was done right as they are in the minority.
