MIT HAS A CROSS COUNTRY TEAM???????????
Yes, and it's generally been a fairly good one, by NCAA Division III standards.

LSU = MIT? Ya think? Really similar student bodies, right?
A friend of mine, who is currently a student at LSU, happens to be in the latest issue of Playboy magazine ("Girls of the SEC"). I can confidently say that we had no similar student bodies at MIT when I was there.
"class" ain't that simple, kiddo.
Fast-twitch muscles do have a lot to do with this sort of behavior.
The article is about a red shirt linebacker because he is a student/athlete at lsu, and it is a school newspaper. X-man isnt a student

You're darn right he isn't. School is for fools. Campus life is for jokers. Look at what hanging out with those higher education hooligans got the X-man. Nothing but trouble. X-man, if you're reading this thread from the prison internet, just heed my advice, stay away from campus.
LSU police issued arrest warrants for a former LSU track star and two other men stemming from a Sept. 1 attack on a woman’s car.
Xavier D. Carter, 21, a seven-time NCAA champion in track events, is wanted on a count of felony simple criminal damage to property, the warrant says. Warrants for misdemeanor damage to property were also issued for Derrick Odom, 19, a freshman football player at LSU, and Steven Williams, 24.
Police arrested Odom on Monday night and gave him a misdemeanor summons, said Maj. Lawrence Rabalais with the LSU Police Department. Police expect to give Williams a misdemeanor summons next.
Police believe Carter is currently out of the country, Rabalais said. If Carter is found guilty of the felony offense, he faces a fine of up to $1,000 and/or prison for up to two years.
The three men are accused of damaging a woman’s car on Sept. 1 on the west side of Building 5 at West Campus Apartments, an arrest warrant says. Officers responded to the scene after the men fled.
The victim, Marla Bruton, told police she was driving her 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier north in the west travel lane at the apartments. A white vehicle with its doors open was blocking the way so Bruton asked the men inside the car to move, leading them to damage her car.
Odom is accused of ramming the left side of her car with his body to lift the car up on that side, a warrant says. Carter is accused of jumping onto the hood of the car and then onto its roof, where he jumped up and down “like it was a trampoline.”
Williams is accused of kicking in the driver’s side window of the car after screaming at Bruton, a warrant says. Bruton and a passenger were inside the car while the men were damaging it.
Bruton, who called police when the men drove away, identified Carter and Odom because she worked at a football operations facility and recognized the players, a warrant says. She told police she recognized Williams because she had seen him with the players before.
The warrants were filed last week after Bruton obtained repair estimates for the damage to her car. Carter is accused of a felony after $1,240.10 in damage was done to the roof.
Williams is accused of causing $145.06 in damage after kicking out the window. Odom did not damage the car.
Odom, a backup linebacker, returned to practice last week after LSU coach Les Miles lifted a suspension following the redshirt freshman’s Aug. 23 arrest on assault charges.
The Sept. 1 incident happened while Odom was still suspended from the team.
LSU found out about the latest allegation against Odom on Monday after practice, said LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette. He said Miles would look into the incident.
The man Odom is accused of assaulting said he would not pursue the matter after Odom apologized in a closed-door meeting.
LSU track and field coach Dennis Shaver, who still coaches Carter and several former LSU track athletes, said late Monday afternoon he had not heard about the incident.
Shaver recently spent two weeks in Osaka, Japan, at the IAAF Championships and said he hasn’t really been in contact with Carter since then.
I'm sure it's all just a misunderstanding.

Those kids are very very lucky that she didn't have a gun.

What about someone with real skills, like Pete Maravich?
I'd say Pete Maravich as well. Tommy Casanova a close second.
another great athlete with criminal tendencies from LSU - Billy Cannon
Yelberton Abraham Tittle
What's the latest on Xavier? Is he still in prison?
he's run a couple of races this year, but none of them were very good; mid-to-high 20s if I remember correctly
So much talent, so little common sense.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
