I'm planning on running a marathon in November and trying to decide on my goal time.
I recently ran a half marathon in 1:10 and have been running 60 - 70 mpw for the last few months. I have mostly run progression runs and distance runs and haven't really run intervals or tempo runs yet. If I were to increase my mileage to the upper 80's and add in some good tempos and intervals over the next two months would I have a chance of running sub 2:30. Based on my 1/2 time and the addition of more mileage and workouts I think it is reasonable.
