YEAHHH! Two possessions, two touchdowns by LSU! Huge test early in the season for the boys in Death Valley.
GO TIGERS!!

Pains me to say it, but I don't think the VT offense is capable of scoring 14 to get back in it (unless the backup QB has got something). Now if the defense can't stop LSU, that's really not good....
This is one old fashion bitch slapping.
Bad day for teams with Virginia and Tech in their names:
VPI loses 48-7
WV Tech loses 87-0 to Western Kentucky
i think it is disrespectful for lsu to beat vatech after the crazy guy went on a rampage last year. it may send them all into a depression that has far reaching ramifications. go easy, lsu.
48-7 LSU
That Tiger defense is ridiculous. Won't scream out National Champ stuff after week 2, cause this is the SEC and you never know what will happen.
Pac 10 is looking super strong this year: Cali (who embarassed TN, but struggled today a little) Oregon (may have solidified the unemployment status for Lloyd Carr) Washington broke Boise St. record winning streak, UCLA...
And then there is USC. I'll hold my thoughts for right now, but I want us to meet USC in January in New Orleans.
There is talk of Les Miles going to Michigan. Not sure what I think of that; not too fond of Miles, but who would be a good fit. LSU is supertalented and mature, but who could come in and be Saban-like or just maintain what they have??
Big Ten is not having one of their stronger years...Wisco looks pretty tough...but so did OSU last year until they met the SEC's Florida
My Picks for Top Conferences after WK Two:
1. SEC. Okay, I'm biased. I'm an SEC fateful til death!
2. This is very very very close to the Pac 10. The power of USC boosts this team over...
3. The Big East. WV, LU, RU are looking very good. They have somem scary offenses but supportive defenses. I place them behind SEC and Pac-10 for that reason: You have to have a more balanced team to beat the likes of LSU, Florida, Alabama, Tennesse or USC, Cali, Oregon, UCLA etc.
4. Big 12. OU, Texas, NU look strong, but falls off badly after that.
Matchups I'd like to see with all teams bringing their best game:
LSU VS USC
West Virginia VS Florida
Wisconsin VS Rutgers
UCLA VS California
Texas VS Oklahoma
2nd to running, college football is the best there is in this sports world. Gotta love it.
Get this: When was the last time either ND or Michigan has started the season 0-3??? It'll happen next week...It's been a long time coming for ND as they have been overranked and overhyped for several years now. I really think ESPN/ABC is secretly a sponsor for them...They refuse to admit that the Irish suck and has sucked since Lou Holtz left.
Darn, I thought this thread was about Levitra vs. Viagra. Damn, I'm f***ing drunk... Good night.
