Anyone plan on going? I probably will.

Lubbock is a fantastic place? The best view I've had of Lubbock is in my rearview mirror as I was leaving. Hopefully they will not run on that abortion of a course at Mae Simmons Park. People who like Lubbock are similar to people who were hostages and end up falling for their captors. The Tech fans are as often as not classless clowns and the situation there is so desperate that their mascot once committed suicide during one of their football games by running headlong into a concrete wall. The only thing that I can come up with on why you would say that Lubbock is a fantastic place is if you lived in Waco before that.
The Tech women should be very competitive but I doubt they can beat Colorado. It is possible that they will beat Baylor for second and that would be a good result. Wes Kittley and his staff have built a good all around track program there and they can challenge anyone in the conference for the overall quality of their team.
I actually forgot the Big 12s were here this year. I'm excited. Don't get Tech xc/track fans confused with our football fans please. The few cross country fans we have are very supportive, nice people.
LOL. It's actually at a place called Rawls Golf Course. I've seen many a meet at Mae Simmons; I, too, am glad it's not there.
Hey TxrunnerGirl, where is the Rawls Golf Course?
Oh that's good. It's on 4th street somewhere. I've never run there. I don't think they usually let people run there, but who knows.
Yeah...I highly doubt that texas tech will beat colorado!

I'll take Waco over Lubbock. At least it's only a few hours from Austin. Lubbock isn't a few hours from anywhere.
I'm surprised that Tech has ANY xc fans.
Parents and ex-athletes like me :)
Let me assure u that Texas Tech will smoke everyone in Big 12 conference , if not NCAA championship too.Colarado lost one of their top three n also the their best athlete just got back from Worlds, i think she needs some time to rest b4 geting into business unless she is ready to have a bad indoor/outdoor season.
I am hundred percent they will win. Coach Murray is a great coach n i am sure that he is going for the win.
CU doesn't care about indoors
I dont care ,so long as they will be beaten.
Won't happen, it'll take more than a few Kenyan ringers.
Sept. 14th they are having the Jackrabbit Open. Expect an insane battle between Niccodemus Naimadu, John Kosgei, Fred Samoei, Kevin Chelimo and Haron Lagat! Last year Lagat edged Kosgei both running 23:43.

Last year Kipyego ran 15:55 at that meet. Can't wait to see how the girls are gonna do, well see if they are stronger or weaker than last year.
