Go to USATF.com and check out Italian Andrew Howe's "celebration" before Irving Saladino (Panama) serves him up some sweet humble pie!!
Andrew Howe... sorry buddy. You lose... learn to get some composure on the big stage.

It didn't bother me. What does bother me is when an NFL defensive lineman celebrates after sacking the QB- it's his job. One sack and he's dancing all over the place. At least in this case the guy put himself in the lead in the world championship.
why don't you post the link you fvckstick? I don't feel like going all through usatf's website to find what you're talking about.

You know, I thought of posting something stupid like this too, until I bothered to take 10 seconds and found the video easily.
He did set a huge PB and a national record; seems like celebrations were in order. And he congratulated Saladino after his 8.57 AR jump.
LOL.. His mom was great. :)
I actually think that his celebration fueled saladino to achieve a better jump.
Next time anyone brings up the behaviour of US sprinters, post that link for them.
Even the stuffy European commentators didn't say anything bad about his celebration. Get a grip.
i am not one to typically criticize an athlete's celebration but this did seem a little excessive.
i don't really care. He can do what ever he likes, but he looked kind of like an idiot.
Just like a darkie, isn't it?
Looks like he has a lazy eye
The point isn't that he looked like an idiot, but that he celebrated like he won something when the world leader still had a jump left. It would be like declaring yourself the winner of a golf tournament when Tiger Woods was just one stroke back with 3 holes to play.
That was a retarded thing to do.
His mom was awesome, with her nappy weave.

IM THE BEST IM THE BEST
or maybe he was excited that he set a big personal best and, i don't know, a national record. god, what an asshole for showing emotion.
I'm waiting for someone to discuss the validity of Italian citizenship for Mr. Howe, who seemingly can be heard shouting "That's right!"
I hope he wasn't seen wrapped in an Italian flag. He will be shredded even further here on by the Let's Run jingoists and nationality police.
Good point, no TRUE Italian knows a lick of English.
He was born in LA, so I assume he's also an American citizen. Why can't an American shout "That's right?"
HAHA He looked like such an asshole. An asshole who can jump far, but nevertheless an asshole.
