Excuse my lack of knowledge but I was just wondering what systems were worked with each type of workout.
Shorter intervals (15x400)equal rest at 3k pace
Longer intervals (4 x 5min)short rest 8k pace
Longer intervals (4 x 4 min) full rest at 3k-5k pace
The Steady runs: what pace should "steady be"?
Hi-intensity workouts: 8 x 400 full rest 1500 pace
Easy runs: what pace?
how many workouts should you do per week if you are racing and how should the workouts be structured. what about if you are not racing(how many steady runs do you follow w/ steady after a workout). What do you do for a taper for a big race?
I am an old man but I just wanted to learn a bit more. Thanks.
