In regards to Region I,
The following schools have their 2007 rosters listed
EOU
SOU
Albertson (with press release)
Concordia (with press release)
Lewis and Clark
SFU and UBC have not put anything out yet. If anyone knows anything about any of the new runners on these rosters it might help give us an idea of the contenders from this region and if posters from the other regions could do the same we might be able to compile a list here and get an idea of the strength of teams a region at a time.
sfu and ubc will keep their rosters secret as long as possible.... and you guys will have to deal with the suspense of never knowing.
by the way west coast ghost, who are you ?
concordia california will be in the top 5 this year again, they have pat marion b/c he has a cross season left, ricky cuevas who ran for VI in 05, they will have ali adeen khanouchi for the 06-07 VI squad, so thats a 25:09 guy, a 25:34 guy, and a 30 something min 10k guy, with some good recruits and/or some of the return guys if they train hard they will be there, I say watch out for shorter college and lindenwood too. Lindenwood reloaded for this fall and is going to be big and shorter college has a young program but pick up a transfer or two from VI and there guys that are already there are going to be running hard and training hard.

Pat Marion is done. He only has track left.
So this will be interesting to see how Concordia does with VICs guys. A lot of pressure for them to just be as good as they were with a coach who has a hard time getting things right at the end. Didnt work so well for marion last year.
San Marcos has their season preview up. There is no mention of their number 2 and 4 runners from last year, Alverez and Hoffman, and says their 5 Thys may or may not be running. They did pick up Brosnan from Concordia and their top freshman, Alex Guaderrama, is a 4:25 miler. A potential podium team? Yes. A national title contender? Maybe.

Region I teams pick up more free agents and lure athletes away from other teams more than the damn NY Yankees. Represent Midwest boys that build themselves into men in 4 years through dedication to a coach, a program, and running in 100 degree days to -25 degree days. We seek our selves not a coach to find us for us!

the semi-accurate rosters formula for canadian schools:
just take a look at #'s 10-20 on a list of the top hs kids in bc last year. sfu and ubc pretty much split 'em 50-50 each year. add returnees, subtract grads, and voila, you got rosters.
actually Pat prd in the steeple, so i dunno what your talking about.

Pat set a PR in the steeple but failed to make the finals at NAIA's.
All the Concordia guys last year seemed like cool guys. Maybe they should tell that strange coach they have to stop jumping around in 8th grade face paint and act like an adult. This way Concordia gets the respect they deserve.
Just a thought?
It really doesnt matter what team it is, If any team in the NAIA is fast or at the top somebody always critizies them, such as VI, Concordia, Minot State, Life and so on
no talk about concordia, oregon? Surprising. Seems like about this time the past two years, there was a lot of smack talking about them and their coach.
How are they supposed to be this year?

ummm, maybe because they suck and always suck.
where is everyone?
rumor: this should make things interesting and keep Rono from the winning the individual title, Mr. Daniel kanyarahuru from VIC last year will be going to lindenwood this fall. If this is true Rono is going to get his ass kicked by another VIC runner (former runner)
if your going to say something like this you need to offer just a little bit of facts to back it up...pretty big statement you know.
