Yeah, but two guys (Vail and Miller) did not advance even though their times were better than Strang's PR of 14:03. Normally when they advance someone on a referee's decision, there is a DQ associated with the incident.
Poor Levi Miller.....sooooo close! Too bad he wasnt in the other heat!
How did Vail get in? He was not top 6 in his heat and had the 5th fastest time outside of top 12? THought only next 4 fastest advance?
Vail advanced. Look again at the little q by his name.

I think the question is HOW Vail advanced when he was not among the four next fastest times outside the top six in each heat?
The results have been amended again. Vail did NOT qualify.
