No, I need to show all the data.
I am looking at gene amplification (mRNA), so on the x axis I am listing the genes, and on the Y, the amplification normalized to a control, which is 1 for all genes. So the data is something like this:
Gene A 2.2
Gene B 3.4
Gene C 1.7
Gene D 9.6
The difference in the amplification levels b/w A,B and C are significant, but that does not show very well when D is included in the graph. Traditionally, this type of data is displayed using bar graphs. I could do the imaging you mentioned, but I was hoping to be able to splice the graph within Excel somehow. Thanks for your suggestions.
