I'm looking to buy a print of an early 20th century Russian futurist. The only option I have found is a 'Giclee Print.'
If you're knowledgeable about buying art, is a 'Giclee Print' trash, or an affordable and worthy purchase?

A lot depends on the quality of the print. If it is a "limited" edition, then the resolution would be better and it would be printed on higer quality paper. If it is from an "open" edition, then it really isn't collectable.
But, even the "limited" edition wouldn't be an original (didn't have computers in the early 20th century).
