Normally while running I feel great, but there are sometimes awkward situations I've experienced as well. What have been some of your uncomfortable moments while running?
-Standing at a busy intersection, waiting for the light to change while scantily clad in running attire while some redneck revs his engine and whistles at me.
-Returning to the starting line after a half marathon to get my shirts I left there, only to discover it was stuffed in a bag ready to be donated. "We're donating these to the homeless shelter," they said as if to make me feel guilty as I dug through the pile of clothes and retrieved my shirts. Sorry, I need my shirts.
-Any time I'm running on a treadmill and a man next to me just has to turn his speed up faster than mine only to last about 2 minutes and then shamefully go pump some iron to make himself feel manly.
-Any time I'm running around our rec center's mile loop and a guy will not let me pass him no matter what until he stops at the start/finish area and then I keep going. I feel like asking them why they don't want to run the additional miles with me.
-Passing a jogger or walker (usually female) and startling them so much they scream. I thought they heard me coming up behind them.
-Tripping and falling when there are many people watching, for example during a race.
