Injured on and off since end of summer last year, start to get back into good shape then BAM another injury. HEAD IS WRECKED, seriously thinking of just sayin goodbye to athletics, anyone have any guidence for me??

I've bene inured on and off since training for a marathon in 1995. Other than once good summer in there a few years ago now, I've not have uninterrupted training for 12 years. So, pack it in? Maybe. Could just decide that you're injury prone and just can't run at a high level anymore. Run when you can. Do other exercise when you're injured even if you hate that other exercise. Why? Because if you just let yourself get fat (as I've done a couple times) when you can't run, it makes it all that much harder to get the running back on track when the injury passes.
