I have a generalized pain on the upper outside portion of my left calf. It follows what I believe is my fibula and hurts if I apply pressure, it goes from the top of my leg about half way down and I can feel it when toeing off during my run. Squatting down on my toes really hurts and it causes a weakness in the leg. I've been running on the discomfort for a couple weeks, but it just recently got to a point where I was worried.
I think it's an injury of my peroneus longus muscle, but I'm not sure. How much time will I have to take off to get back to a point where I can train normally again?
