What is the pole vault conversion?
Only 9' 6.5", but with a 26 mile, 370 yard runup.

i remember his 10k off his half is like 26:50 or something rediculous. It\'s sub 27 for sure, I am just too lazy to go look it up again.

Until he actually goes out runs 13:04, I don't put him at Teg's level in the 5000.
Are the conversions to a road 10k and road 5k?
If so, lets remember the track will be faster.
I suppose they are equal to a 10k or 5k in London, on the roads, and under warm conditions in April.
he didn't say that hall could run 13:04, he just said that his marathon is worth a 13:04

Yep, you have to figure that the track is 15-20 seconds faster than the roads and the weather would've cost him another 10 seconds. This puts him in the 12:34 range.
Interestingly, the IAAF gives the same score of 1203 points to both a road 27:21 10k and a 27:21.14 10,000m.

Really how much money does 13:04 get you? 208?I guess if you run 208 you still live in a trailer. Pre would be proud.

With his salary+appearance fees im sure Ryan is doing Ok. Hey, he and his wife are like 24(?) why do they need a big house? Its probably smarter to bank all that quid now and live simply, itll pay off later.
what i meant was i think you get more $ running 208 than 13.04. So its worth more.
soo...if you're ranking this class of 00 and 01 in their respective best events, you'd have:
Webb - 3:48.9
Teg and Hall - 13:04 and 2:08:24
Ritz - 27:38
2:08.24 = 3:48.893:48.89 > 3:48.92 Again Webb has run alot more miles than Hall marathons. London wasn't ideal.
