What about the great Hartmann and Fasil? Did they go the way of Meb and Khalid? What about Driscoll or Blake Russell? USA really did have an ugly day.
Yeah, can somebody please post a result (or DNF) for Meb? I spent the last hour trying to get the damn WCSN site to load, and even called Customer Service, who helped as much as a goddamn box of hair. I should have known that the Letsrun.com board would be more reliable!

Hall fastest American born Marathoner, supplanting Kempainen?
Firstly I agree. Secondly I am so impressed by Halls run. I honestly thought he would choke, but he ran conservatively early, got on in the middle and attacked towards the end. Some may rip into him, others praise BUT today he looked every bit the marathoner and deserved to be there. He ran with no fear even when the great Tergat pulled along side him. Well done on a awesome job but more importantly well done and running a great debut.
Martin Lel is a walking retirement plan for an orthodontist.
"Teticle."
Damn , pretty fast for a debut for Hall
How much $$ does that get him?
Lel is saying he ran a tactical 2.07.41....

joe driscoll was the 2nd american and 14th overall in 22049
Lel is a class act as well. Totally modest and nice. Contrast him with A-rod or Canseco or some other overpaid doosh!
Who picked Hall to run this time in the poll? I did!
