I use "regular running" shorts about the 4 inch inseam. The keep rolling into my crotch area. Why is that? Do I need longer shorts? Or a different cut/sytle?

Either your shorts are too small or your thighs are too fat.

I think it's because you suck so much that your ass sucks too and it is drawing your shorts up.
either that or your junk is too small to keep your shorts pushed down.

I think my imposter's response was most accurate.
You probably have slightly larger adductor muscles in your leg, which is probably something most of the dumbass repliers on this thread know nothing about, as they confuse "skinny" with "healthy." Unfortunately, most of the morons on here like to call muscle "fat" because it makes them feel better about how physically inadequate they are. My guess is longer shorts would just make the issue more obvious. You might want to try different types of fabrics. Maybe a heavier dri-fit material?
Until Americans agree on the correct inseam of our running shorts, then we can reclaim our worldwide dominance in distance running.( like 17 inch inseam.)
i think you need to run naked, but put some smoothskin on your thighs, that should help. You're welcome!

Thanks.
Hey,
Look for shorts with a built in sport brief. I don’t mean a regular running short brief cut like a bikini. But rather a boxer type sport brief. Many companies have them, I know that InSport and Nike both have a 7 inch outer with a 6 inch inner short that fights "creep" or "the V" as it is called. A longer inseam will help with this as well but the only think that will insure that it stays down is a sport brief on the inside keeping it down.
As for the morons who have posted before this, they could try these types of shorts but they can fill them out and just look like they are wearing loose fitting tights under running shorts.
It is better to fight the "creep" and feel good then wear them nancy little running shorts the "real" runners wear. I wish most of them would go to pants; all that pale skin is hurting the sport.
