I ran 42 miles this week, my highest week since January, with one tempo run and one track ladder workout. It was fun to be at the track again, but ouch! I have to get my speed back.
I plan on doing 400s next week...we shall see!
56 miles this week, second highest mileage week of the year. Most of it was easy, with one unplanned progression run - an 8-mile loop with friends who kept picking it up, such that we started at around 8:10 pace and finished under 6:50.
I'm on vacation in NYC this week, so will be running and exploring at the same time, and looking forward to next week's Brooklyn half marathon.
I don't plan to start speedwork until May.
