Thought this might be an interesting survey. If you have a non runner wife or girl-friend who weighs more? My wifes not fat but she does weigh about 10 pounds more than me. I dont know why it bothers me but it does.

At 100-105 lbs, I'm pretty sure that my boyfriend will always weigh more than me. Still, I don't like it when he loses weight and looks too skinny (when he gets to 140-145 lbs or so)...I want to be the petite, skinny one, not him, and I love it that he can carry me.
My partner is a blow up doll. I'm sure I'll weigh more than she does until I die.
Yes actually, I am 6' 145 pounds and my girlfriend is around 5'5" and she might have 5-10 pounds on me. It has never really bothered me. But it's not because I am less shallow or anything, I think she is really hot. Plus I'm pretty sure I could never date a girl that was taller than me.
Don't hyphenate "girlfriend".

Why not?
Because I have met lots of women and I have never been really attracted to any over 5'10". Maybe it's an insecurity issue, or maybe everyone secretly wants to date someone just like their mom(or dad,) since my mom is short. I have dated very intelligent, talented and motivated women so I don't really think it is just an insecurity issue. But I suppose that could be a small part of it.
nothing wrong with a guy being thin. I've seen lots of hot guys that weigh less than the avg. girl! take ritz, allistar mcraig, goucher as an example. it is possible to be thin and hot!

Wait until the post-nuptial shut-off, then you'll be porking out to 150+.
NO, in fact she weighs about 25 pounds less. It is called great eating habits and some exercise.
My wife is about 105. I am 152. We have been married 14 years.
She understands that if she gets fat, the plumbing stops working. She's in her prime, she wants the plumbing to work every night.
I'm 150lb, my non-running wife is 142lb.
160 lbs here..non-running girlfriend 108 lbs.
I'm 168 right now...but should be 150. My wife is 140 lbs and 5'9.
I wouldn't change a thing, even if I could.
And that's after 17+ years of marriage.
That is just a superficial question that guys who are not secure in their manhood are worried about. I'm a 5'6" very fit runner who weighs 148 lbs. My wife is a 5'8" nonrunner who weighs 179 lbs. Who cares? She's big and beautiful.
As long as I can still bench press more than her, I still feel like I have to protect her.
(OK I'm trolling during commercial)
oink!
I run recreationally and weigh in at 108 (5'4"), and my runner boyfriend weighs 160 at 5'11".
Call me a b!tch, but way bigger ladies with lanky little guys weirds me out.
I'm a girl who's less than half the size of my fiance--I'm 5-2.5 and 103 pounds, and my fiance, who doesn't run but used to play football, lifts weights like crazy, and can bench 300 pounds is 5-11 and 210 pounds. Guess I'll always be protected ;)
Maybe less than half his weight, but not half his size.
i'm big enough to protect my bitch from all the weenies on letsrun.com
