Why don't you ask the fathers?
Why don't you ask the fathers?
Are you racist?!?!?!
WHITE females do that too!!!
It's a change in our culture, nothing to do with race.
Probably because young American males are dead-beats by nature, or they figure the divorce rate is so high why marry? Who knows... it's their choice and you have no right to judge people for having babies out of wedlock.
Worry about you, let others do what they want.
P.S. I have no children.
How convenient, I guess that means she won't be able to race this year. Might not even be able to get back in shape for next year!

Well, yeah, they do--in the US, about one white kid in four nowadays is born to unwed parents. On the other hand, two out of three black kids are born to unwed parents.
And the reason it might be interesting is that health and social outcomes for the children of unwed parents (*on average*) are not as good as for the children of married parents.
And bad health and social outcomes end up affecting everyone (particularly anyone who pays taxes).

Thats not the Question at all...a totally diffent although related topic. Having the child before marriage is the problem (not agreeing that its race related) but its not "ask the father"...its why do so many have kids with someone they arent married to. All Accidents? or do some people actually think its a good idea to have kids out of wedlock. Unless it was a mistake...get married before having kids...its not that complicated. Dont think...oh he'll marry me if we have kids...or the classic..."having a kid will save the relationship." mentality.
Im not excusing the guys from their responsibility...but woman unless forced are 100% able to control if they have kids to people they never marry.
Post of the day-

i'm not sure that you're wrong
i can't believe people actually believe this (including letsrun). this is the same paper that said Wariner was on drugs. it's just unsubstantiated sensationalism.

Yeah, it's too hard to swallow a birth control pill before a woman has sex.
It's just like so much work and everything.
What are the effects of steroids on the fetus?
I know this Marion story is now being reported as fact here, but it appears not to be true.
Does everyone else get the same google ad as I do at the bottom of the article? You know, the one for DNAtribes.com. That's at least a 9.2 on the Sportguys' unintentional humor scale.
Marion should marry Rafael Palmeiro! after all neither of them have ever taken anabolic steroids! She can eat ass! She is a cheat and a crime! and yes, she will be on welfare someday!

That is kind of a moot point when the mother is pregnant.
I think I am the only person in this world that doesn't see abortion as a religious issue. I am a democrat that has a hard time with the ethics behind abortion. Every argument just seems so self-centered. I don't like the right wing arguments either, they just seem ignorant.

Wrong equipment.
There's still no one reporting this story except that Barbado paper (and a couple of places that have just linked up their story). It really looks like it isn't true.
