keith stapleton, a senior at curtis high school on staten island is having one of the greatest seasons in psal history. he won eastern states, psal championships, ran a 4:20 mile at new balance games and a 9:29 2 mile. the times arent outstanding but from where hes come from, theyre pretty damn good. these times are off of not great training in new york city, not great running territory, after slacking off and jerking around his first two years of high school. i remember being on the bus with him on the way up to ny state championships and he almost got kicked off the bus for being a moron. is he the best high school runner in nyc history?
