I will most likely be moving to London this spring and was looking for a place to live. Looked at craigs list but most of that is rent-by-the-week. Anyone know of similar websites with listings for longer term renting/leasing? Specifically west london - teddington, hampton area.
any other advice would be greatly appreciated as well.
y r u moving to london? i mean there are plenty of surrounding areas just outside of london...that are much less expensive. unless u are loaded then i would stay out of london. hit me up if you want to know more.
Yeah, I know it's expensive. Biting the bullet on that one as it's where I have to be for school/work. Where else would you recommend for less $$$? Any input is much appreciated.
P.S. I have to admit, I'd trade a longer commute and maybe a bit higher rent to be near Bushy and Richmond Park, along with the towpath along the river. Good running is worth it to me. But I don't know a lot about other spots so maybe I am just needing to be enlightened.
Try gumtree.com there are usually loads of listings on there!

do a general search on rentals and the area you would like to live.
I'd recommend maybe somewhere like Raynes Park which is much cheaper than Teddington/Richmond but also is perfectly situated for richmond park etc and has good transport links into the city.
