Not another Tauro thread! Go to the High School thread. Nobody here cares about a 4:45 runner even if it's a girl. If she does a low 4:30 then by all means post it here.
I am interested: 4:46 is good, very good.

Dude, that's a great time indoors. Some of us care about running - all levels.

Take away the high altitude of Wrightwood, and she'll be lucky to get under 5.
Great running indoors this time of the year. You must be some guy who couldn't crack 5:00.

The guy probably meant that if she was raised at sea level and forced to live and train there, she wouldn't even be a sub-5 runner.

Altitude tents. The "Wrightwood" model simulates the ~6000 ft altitude of Wrightwood, California.
Other models are the Flagstaff, the Denver, and the Santa Fe.
Yeah, I think I'm going to go get in some high altitude training on the boardwalk. It's cold there this time of year, though, so I'm going to get in my high altitude stuff down in Florida for now.
Yep, I'm right. wrote:

She is obviously on here bragging about herself. I really don't like self absorbed people. There is a Tauro thread every month. Big fan club or narcissism? Which is more likely?

Don't forget to bring CAT's "Boulder" altitude tent with you.
Alternative options are the "Big Bear" (~7000ft) and the "Mammoth" (~8000ft).
Of course, if you're really hardcore, you could go for the "Tibet" model, which is the best one on the market.
You can watch the race here.

I don't know about that, but I'm sure she has the "Wrightwood" model. It's no coincidence that "Tauro" sounds astonishingly similar to "Tarver", who's a good runner from Wrightwood, California.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm getting an altitude tent upgrade. My last version was from Hypoxico (the "Reno"), and I'm looking to get a "Colorado Springs" or a "Cheyenne". The models are fairly expensive, though, so I'm looking to put some money in EPO.
Tauro had her trademark kick of 66.2 last 440 to open 4+ seconds on 800 runner Smith in the last 220.

It would have been a sub-65 lap if she ditched her "Wrightwood" model and got a "Flagstaff" one instead.
Anyway, it's not a good idea to buy the "Nairobi", "Eldoret", or "Iten" models. Most of them are made by Nigerian con-artists, so the quality of them is pretty shady.
