I was just carious of what some of you might think, I have about 3 weeks till I run my 5k at the Armory in NYC. I am looking to Run Sub 14:50 and was wondering if anyone else thinks of my training, that I can Run under 14:50. So here is what my training has been for 4 weeks now since Christmas. Before christmas I was doing about 80-90 miles a week for a full month, which I was building base for this indoor season. so any thaught's whould be great thanks. by the way my PB for the 5k is 15:15 which I ran last year outdoors.
M-AM-4 miles(28 minutes) PM- 1mi,1mi at 5:30, 5x1k at 2:48-2:52, 1mi
T-AM- 3.5mi easy, PM-1mi,4 mi tempo at 5:15, 1 mi
W-AM- 10miles Easy (1hr 8 min)
T-PM--1mi,1mi at 5:20, 6x 400 at 61-63, 1mi
F-Relax day, Pool or Cross Train.
S-1mi, 6x 800m 2:15,2:13,2:14,2:11,2:10,2:09, 1mi
S-12-15 miles easy
