Every saturday my long run is about 15 miles. I know that when I am done with a long run i like to take an ice bath for about a halph an hour. To replenish my fluid i like to drink a gallon of water with about 1.5 cups of salt in it, my coach told me that this would help by white blood cell count. Then for nutrition i usually like to eat a powerbar when i am done, so as to refuel by blood sugar supply.
What would you do to recover from a long run or hard workout?
What do you think the guys like geb, tergat, and mcdougal do when they are done running?
