at the end of my XC season I noticed that during every race, the first thing to give were my arms. They immediately got really tired and it hurt my form and race. After XC i started working out and things were going really well but than today at practice I had to run 2x800 and 4x200 and my arms were killing me. Especially on the 200's that were in about 28 seconds. They just couldnt move fast with my legs and it hurt my workout. During the 800's they were really heavy and slowed me down. so are there certain workouts I shuldnt be doing that may just add extra weight to my arms that arent needed. Is bench ok? Is this a sign of me not working out enough or me just working out and being sore? Any1 else ever get this?
