How fast are you?
good coach: no
running environment: yes - tons of beautiful trails on campus
what else do you want to know?
Not extremely fast, but I would be close to top 7 based on regional results. I would plan on walking on.
you'll be wasting your time doing lots of 400 repeats
So what type of running plan does the coach have their guys on? Also non-running related, how is the social atmosphere? Girls, Parties?
Hey, give Florida State a try. Bob Brayman is coach there - top notch and the runners love him. They won NCAA Nationals last year. Can't beat that.
I doubt I would be good enough to walk on at Florida State and even if they let me I would have no chance of making varsity unless something real drastic happened.I want to be on a team that I have a chance of contributing for. Also I'm pretty sure Id have to sit out a year if I moved up to D1?

What are you planning on majoring in?
Biology.
if this is any indication of the coach...he has 17min 5kers on several thousand dollar scholarships

the classy posts by their boys during xc showed what kind of kids they are
Back in the mid 90's they had a pretty fast guy, although I can't remember his name.

The summers are brutally humid. I'd go out to the southwest. Better climate. More fun.
Im not really worried about the summer's. Im from florida and if I went to uwf the tutition would be free. It's a tough decision since I do like the school and team Im at currently, but the tuition keeps increasing and my coach isn't increasing my scholarship.
as long as you show up for practice most days of the week you should get money.
its not a serious program there. the school should have national qualifying teams but the coach doesnt take it serious and he doesnt know what recruiting is.
pre-nats was 300+meters long and nats were 250meters short. how do you screw up this bad...twice???
