cummings? another 200meters in the race and he would have been further back...that's bs to say that if it was an 8.1km that he would have caught up. it was an 8k and he didnt.

gotta agree that Cummings was coming on very hard at the end. 10k will certainly be a different race. I didn't think the top guy from Edinboro was going to make it to the finish. He looked really tired but then the course we very hard yesterday with all the water and mud.
great job bluman.
Lets hope for some dry weather next week.
Anyone think there were any shockers besides Bluman, individually or teamwise? I think that SHIPs lead pack didnt run very well and considering that they were led by Beegle all year, he wasnt there #1 runner. LHU I believed pulled a shocker by getting that 4th spot and what the hell happened to mansfield?
YOUR MY BOY BLU!!!!!
Lock haven ran a great race, and Mansfield just simply Sucks! No way will they rebound back next week at regionals to pull out a top 4 or 5 finish.
his website for the photos is www.davidbracetty.photoreflect.com, but the pics arent posted yet. there are some nice ones from track on there though.

Not sure about that. They were out of 5th by 14 points Sanford and Stanck were 3 mnutes back in 83 and 84th, even a marginally better race would out them up two places.

Its rediculous because he has SHIP runners like Phil Diven, Jake Sitler, and Sean Stetler, running with Pat Bone from IUP(which whom doesnt exist). Also these SHIP guys running with the likes of Sanford and Nick Hilton, who I at least know and heard of this year...Why are those SHIP guys there? Who is Doug Weeks, what has he done to get 21 in the conference? Stephen Lobianco was 21st in the last year, at least I know of him. He was an excellent steepler for ship and scored his last 3 years there...I mean come on now, you put these predictions up, can you at least justify the people who have NOT already proven themselves?
Lib as you stated here, "its ridiculous you have ship runners like, phil diven, Jake Sitler, and sean stetler in the top blah blah" well can you go look at the results please, and yes ships front runners didnt do reasonably well at PSACS, but please dont underestimate anybody or count anyone out because.....well look what happened when you stated the almost seemingly obvious. Shit happens chief
After looking at the results sir, I have found out that Phil placed 32nd, Jake placed 36th, and Sean placed 44th...That is pretty close to what they were predicted, but I only give it to jake, he ran a hell of a race...
Wow! From Mt. Carmel Classic age group winner to PSAC champion! Congrats!
Mansfield? What the hell happened to them? Dave Sanford 83rd??? Staneck 85???? What the hell did that team do before this race? Besides That was the worst performace I have seen in a while for such a hyped team???? Two did great, Two did ok for being young still, and the rest sucked it up. Better do something to get these guys straight.
I think that the battle for 3rd next week will be a good one... if lock haven can get pomerantz healthy that should drop their score a lot and if ships top three run like they should (top 15-20) that will drop their score a lot. These two teams are very similar, both teams having some top guys out for the season and trying to salvage a 3rd place finish in a rebuilding year, ship is younger though, not losing anybody next year. Also you can throw mansfield into the mix if they get their heads outta their asses, which should make for a good race for 3rd. I got my money on ship just cuase steve spence is all that is man.
I think that the Mansfield boys were holding back purposly. I think they may be up to something. Stanek is one good looking kid for a freshman.

why would mansfield hold back, what would they have to gain since they are not in contention for the national spots?
I doubt Mansfield was holding back....I was at the race and their coach was furious at his guys. I guess their new-look orange uniforms did not help, I see Sanford bouncing back at regionals but thats about it. Lock Haven went out hard the for the first 3 miles and looked in good position but they fell apart near the end. Ships top 3 guys ran well but they need some help from their 5 guy. I tip my hat off to Bluman, as winning in the mud is not an easy task as shown on the last turn.
maybe mansfield was overrated and this isn't a big deal.
their top guys ran great though.

I spoke to Rohl after the race he was more perplexed than angry at his guys. I was near him when he talked to Sanford and basicly he told Sanford to shake it off and move on. Rohl always has that pissed off look even when everything is ok.
The Guy is a Douche.
Who cares how they are doing, The Mansfield boys keep getting hotter and hotter. Maybe we should just focus on that!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
