No, it wasn't Monroe.

It was his mommy?
I mean, Monroe normally has a red face after racing, but those tears really accentuated it this time.
No it isn't his mommy. Really what is wrong with you guys sometimes? Both Gillette and Monroe are going to represent your conference at the NCAA meet you would think you would have some respect and consideration. Dumb ass, selfish, trolling douches....
Monroes the man. I didn't see him throwing a hissy, plus he won the 5k so even if he "wasted" a season it will motivate him that much more in outdoor. As much as it pains me to say it Gillette isnt a cocky douche, and he handled his winning very humbly, but he still is a fag in every other facet. But GD is amanda rudabega got a tasty butt
If you were being serious about Monroe's "wasted" season then you need to look at the fact he qualified for Nationals in the 3k and the 5k. That is a very successful season in my opinion. The way he raced this weekend I think he would have a chance to go AA in the 5k. Yes Gillette beat him but lets be honest, Gillette is doing things right now that nobody else has and has a chance to win the DMR and the 3k if he shows up in top form. Monroe is setting himself up to do some big things come outdoor track and I am looking forward to watching it. Will there be a Gillette vs Monroe outdoors in the 5k?
Matt Gillette 4:03 wow and joel flott 1:50. they were haling ass. Congrats to them and Aaron Dinzeo. Hopefully the PSAC can bring back some more NCAA hardware today
Gillette and Monroe represented the PSAC real well in the 3k today. Props to then sticking themselves in the race and sticking it to those RMAC guys

Well said. Gillette had a monster weekend. And props to Monroe for coming back after a rough 5K to hang tough in the 3K. I didn't actually see the 3K, but I watched the 5K and that had to take a lot out of him, with all the battles for position.
Some decent performances on opening weekend(s) for the PSAC. Hopefully more to come from everyone soon!
Outdoor is about to get started fur realzies. My money is on Tabitha Bemis taking the men's triple jump along with the long.

Shout out to Neely Spence following in her papa's PSAC shoes and showing strong at the international level by being top American at World XC.
Has there been any good recruits signed for the PSAC yet this year? With Matt Gillette leaving the mile is wide open with the 2nd best runner being a 4:14 guy. Monroe is going to be lonely next year in XC and track.
What are you talking bout Monroe being lonely, dinzeo will be right there with him in both track and cross. They were both fresh in the 5k at nats and dinzeo beat him. But as for recruits really haven't seen much on PennTrackXC

I heard Shippensburg picked up a transfer that is faster then Monroe in cross country and faster then Gillette on the track as a freshman last year. Does anybody have any more information on this kid?
Yea why would I kid like that transfer to ship? I will believe it when I see it, sounds like some bull to me.

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
