PSSSHHHH YEAH
PSSSHHHH YEAH
I would love for all old-PSAC runners to get on here and tell what they are up to. Tell a complete true story about your current life or make one up.
Rumor has it all of you posting on here are fat and out of shape...I know I am.
Alex Monroe will run sub 8 indoors in the 3k and sub 14 and 29 outdoors. Matt Gillette will run 3:44 in the 1500 and Tom Kehl 1:48, all the distance conference records will be broken in one year!
Forget indoors, I can't wait til outdoors when the PSAC gets pistol-whipped again by THE ONE AND ONLY Paul Galtron!!!
Rumor around the circus tent is that there is a small group of midgets being shot out of cannons and also large elephants that are walking on big rubber balls.

I don't think you realize how quick sub 8 is for a 3K. I'd guess he could go 8:12-8:15 if he got in a fast race at Penn State.
You are talking about a 4th place finisher at XC nats and a 3:46 guy that just ran 17th. Both runners will break the conference records. The big question is, who will win the 3k between the two? Most likely they will both run DMR's or 5k or Friday, then the Mile, and finish it off with a 3k. Due to his endurance I give it to Monroe.
Nobody else will be close.

Dinzeo?? Redshirting xc he'll be out for some blood in indoor for that 3k and 5k
Dinzeo hasn't proved that he is capable of kicking with the kickers or running away from them. Check back in when he does something great.
Having potential to be great doesn't mean you will be great, sometimes peoples fantasies don't match up with reality.

Not to split hairs, but Monroe got 5th. If I remember correctly, Blood got 4th in 2006 and then ran an 8:13 that indoor season.
Monroe is far superior to Blood and it wasn't a national event then, no benefit to waste a hard effort on a non national event
random question but are the rumors kutztown finally got a legit indoor track true? or is it still that crappy rubber material?
I've read that too. That would make that a pretty awesome track if true.
Rumor has there is a PSAC record attempt at the mile this weekend somewhere. There will be multiple pacers. First 400; 62, 600; 1:32, 800; 2:03, 1000; 2:34, 1200; 3:05, 1400; 3:35 mile; 4:04. This is it, it is really going to happen. More on this later as more is revealed about it.
I am the only person that could possibly peak for indoors and run a 4:04 in December. I have since graduated so I call it hoax!
Bucknell also got a new track for those of you that go to the Distance night for PSAC and National qualifiers. It looks really nice!

you forgot to add in the approximately 15 seconds planned to drink their beer every 400. Making the time 5:04, which will crush the current PSAC beer mile record.
We should plan a Beer Mile for the Indoor PSAC championships for the Alumni that are present. Teams of 5 from their respective colleges could race with the lowest average time determining the winner. Up to 5 people for each team can race but only 3 score. Anybody interested??
This could be epic!
