You obviously weren't at the course.

Yeah, this race was a joke, but those who had good races are not by any means jokes. My time was over 2 and half minutes slower from last year and I was in better shape this year. So anyone who was able to work through the mud and earn their way to nats deserves it big time.
Besides that course is very, very hilly plus is was not in the greatest shape either. It was very slippery in many parts of the course, especially the turns. So before you start your bullshit, think about the conditions they were running in. It is not a fast course to begin with.
I do not give a f*** what f***in course it was, any regional meet where you can run over 33 minutes, and still break into the top ten sucks. Bad conditions give you an added 30-45 seconds tops! Hard course, an added minute tops. So if 10th place is 33:30s then he should have ran 32:00 possibly a little faster, and those are extreme conditions. None the less, 32 minutes should never break into a top 10.
Agreed!
what did you eat today man??? you need to relax a bit. trust me, look at jeff weiss, he ran 32 for the 10k at slippery and he was 3rd at nationals in cross and 4th in track. the course made for some slow times. tell me, what did you run on this course? were you there? i was, and trust me, it was one tough bitch to try and manuver (esp). it seemed as it did not affect blood too much though.
jorge
ryan blood is an animal
No, you guys are just all pussies. Ryan Blood will even admit that the course wasn't worth the shitty times. Blood is no better than a 30:30 guy, so no excuses for the rest of you.
what is it about this PSAC thread that always seems to attract the scum. f***ing assholes on this message board. if you think these runners are that bad, while they could probably kick your ass, just stay the f*** out of the thread bitch
Three words man -- f*** off pussy.Hoovis

And, let me add this before I get banned from this board for calling you out by name.
Once again, you're probably the same damn ass munch that tried to tell me last year that Weiss couldn't crack the top-5 at western or adams...only to have him finish third at Nats. Give me a f***ing break.

Jorge is a nicer guy than me. He'll tell you to calm down...I'll tell you to get out here in the east and race you pussy!

Well this thread certainly got heated in a hurry didn't it???
Maybe it will prepare some of the guys (and gals) from the conference for the Florida weather.
Good Luck to everyone down there, have fun and make us slackers feel cool because we know you.
Everyone just calm down mmK...
Mcgato1 - It's true times in the 33's are a little weak, but gain a little perspective and think about SRU's course for a second. It's always been slow, and add the rain and mud and you get slower.
Hoovis - Chill out, its a message board, you're not going to intimidate anyone by calling them out. This guy is probably laughing behind his screen because he knows he got under your skin.
Good luck to Edinboro guys and girls, Kutztown girls, LH guys, Nicole Blaesser, Holley Whoolery, Jennifer Harpp, Jeff Weiss, Jorge Medina, Justin Shepherd, Chris Clark, and any others I missed. There is a lot of individual all American potential here and also a lot of team potential.
Ryan Blood 30:30 at best?
Maybe if he's running a workout. I can see him down in the 29s, maybe faster..
Ah, it's nice to see that things haven't changed since I last donned a singlet in the PSAC. I'm getting all misty-eyed w/ all the name calling. "your team sucks." "no, you're team sucks!" "no! the whole f-ing region sucks!"
Thanks for the memories, guys.
Alumnus Jeff Skwierz...he sucks the most!

i wasn't at the course, so i can't comment on it. i can comment on 2005 nationals results where only 38 guys ran under 33 minutes. it's about place, not time. if you're telling people about your cross country prs, then you don't have a clue. good luck at nationals, mcgato1, you are running, right? make sure you and your teammates don't lose to any psac guys.
I will comment on the condition of the 2004 Nationals course in Evansville Indiana. Earlier in the year we went there for Pre Nats and it was dry and smoking..Before nationals, they had heavy rain, and I would compare the condition of that course to this years PSAC race at Bloomsburg. Saturated, some spots torn up with terrible footing. I ran both of these courses on my own so I know the elements they were dealing with and can say, that the conditions are quite similar.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
