Henry,
Are you doing any faster running to get the fire hotter to burn belly?

Van, where have you been all these time? It is hard to switch the gear to number three. My wheels can hold number three gears. That is why I'am in phase II all these time.
Which means I need to burn more fat in the belly is that sound about right!
Henry
Henry,
If it's okay to ask, could you say what food and drink you have every day and how much?
Thanks and all the best.

obviously he's eating WAY TOO MUCH. he's not even eating 'normal' or he would have lost alot more weight with all the running he is doing the last few months.
he's over eating; BIGTIME.
unless he makes changes and quit the BS; there won't be any Rono record attmept this coming summer; or even running 'competively' against fellow masters runners.
Henry,
Some posts are missing from yesterday.

I've noticed that any posts lately that point out that Henry hasn't made much of an effort to lose weight are being deleted. (even the ones done respectfully; not just the rude ones).

Do you know why was deleted? can we find out why though? Then let us carry on with our discussion from here right!
Henry
Yes Henry we will start here!
Today's training for me was head out to woods and trails.
My weight is coming off slowly. The hills will take care of it.
I started back 1 year ago
2007 1 will start training
Water will in the end bore a hole in the rock.
Henry, thanks for your posts and for your efforts. I am going through one of the worst years of my life.
A slew of injuries and freak illnesses and personal issues (an impending divorce) have left me in miserable physical condition.
However, your posts and the encouragement of long time runner friends remind me of why many of us first started running when we were young. It wasn't to be a world beater, but for many of us it was just the sheer joy of running. It was for that feeling of freedom and a new found independence. Some days running is a great diversion and on some days it's a healthy obsession full of chances to prove yourself on a daily basis.
Once I'm healthy in a few weeks I'm going to start a gradual buildup and get fitter than I've been in quite a while.
Thanks again Henry and Malmo and all you folks who really understand what running is all about.
Godspeed to all
To Big Rono Fan
My running was not for beating four world records. It was for freedom, after one world record still can't feel free. I go for one more to get a taste of it. I got the flavor of it, by number three world record I had appetite. On the fourth world record, then I was home free.So my Big Fan, I do understand very what you are saying.
It is a good addiction of health in which I had to dig the well of a thirst that amount to health and freedom.
I lost it,now I'm looking for it.
So, today,
The 201 day of training I ran for 34 minutes + 40 minutes sauna + 15 minutes swiming-pool + 35 minutes whirl-pool Still weight the same lbs.I have reach a hard rock which is very hard to find the breaking point of the fat.I think you guys called plateau. But I called it a hard rock.
Henry
henry,
best wishes for a good christmas.
many of us run for the freedom you have mentioned. that freedom leads us to health. we all progress in fitness and lose weight at our own rate.
thanks for the photos you autographed. one was a christmas present for a close friend. he opened it last night and was thrilled.

You're very welcome.
So you like the feel of the wind in your face as you run, as well? Welcome to the brotherhood.

The 202 day of training phase II. The speed work warm up first for 25 minutes. At Eldorado High School track.400mx2 78 second and 74 seconds. What do think of that? I could feel the wind on my face. The mile world record will come down soon.
Henry.

Henry climbs a latter one rung at a time. I think he's done this before.

I'm saying I have the speed and I will be doing these intervals every day.Tomorrow I will 800m ,400m, 200m,100m.
I want to drop 15lbs in 7 day through intervals workout.
Is that sound crazy to you?
you need to concern yourself MORE with what you are eating and drinking.

Yes. That's three rungs at once.
Ignore the trolls Henry. Yes, it's the intervals that will melt the pounds fast, but do at most, four workouts, preferably three. I'd also keep them shorter until the fitness improves, then slowly lengthen them.
What's the official weigh-in today?

Maybe he's from the Church of Ladder Day Saints!
http://www.photogalaxy.com/photo/samantha/14/It's funny to see so many people giving advice to Henry about how to get into better shape. And it's a credit to Henry that he listens to them, although he properly makes his own decisions about what to do. Henry was, after all, the master of the amazing comeback, and there is still no one who knows Henry's body better than Henry himself.
Almost thirty years ago, Kenny Moore observed that, "if there is a key to Rono's success, it is his sensitivity to his body's requirements for work and rest. . . . Rono, perhaps better than any other runner, seems to sense the optimum stress, when to go harder, when to relax."

The official weights 178-180lbs.It is stuck there.
I can see with intervals will come down fast.I'm mental ready for it.
The mechanical body movement form is ready for it.Now the question: How many times Am I going to cranking and wheeling around the 400 meter track to burn the oil in this body(HR)?

Yes, Henry. You should post your weight each day along with your training.
