False. University of Rochester = NYU.
I went to a school that had a phys ed program, and here's the question I have:
Why is it that so many phys ed majors are fat? I mean, you're supposed to be in a major, that in a large part, is about general physical fitness. If they go into teaching, isn't that what they're supposed to teach? Yet you see these 200-250 and higher fatties rolling to class eating potato chips and drinking their soda. To me, that's more sad than what SAT scores kids are taking to SUNY schools.
Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

And those who can't teach, teach gym.
Those who can't teach, teach teachers.
those that can't run, post
so very true
As far as I know the students didn\'t break any laws and as far as I\'m concerned if a person wants to risk their reputation and their genitals via having sex with a pornstar then thats up to them and I wish them the best of luck.....
Indoor Track thread?
I will not let myself die, lets turn are attention to the distance events for indoors or now, unless someone wants to start a new thread.
Anyone see the Cortland guys run at CU on saturday, no one broke 15:00, even with a Cfred rabbitt. Not a bad race for 6 guys though. I assume they trained since ncaa's for this and will now take their down time? anyone know?
Any other interesting results from ny/nj this weekend?
Just a quick question...does Joslyn still have eligibility for track? I saw he was listed as running for Cortland in the Cornell race this past weekend. Not trying to start another debate like last year's brouhaha over Andy Cloke, just curious. Thanks!

Yes, Joslyn does have eligibility.
Someone care to tell us exactly when it was that he missed a season? Did he not graduate, or is he getting a masters in PE or Drivers Ed.?
I am sure if it wasnt legit someone would be all over it.

He attended a Community College that did not have track and field. Therefore he has another year of eligibility.
i love c fred :)

indoors... any other interesting results? comments?

To the ncaa, it makes no difference if the Community College had track or not. The time spent there counts as time off the eligibility of the athlete. I know because a teammate of mine tried to use the same argument in getting a fifth year because he went to MCC which does not have track or xc. He was denied. CFRED had better have his transcript checked because he may be running illegally.
I'm pretty sure this is CFred's fifth year of school. If I'm not mistaken, you have 10 semesters to exhaust your eligibility. The clock started when CFred first enrolled at Broome CC (I'm guessing that's where he went since he's from Binghamton), so this track season is his last gasp.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
