rooting for gary martin in the mile
Oldest meet records:
1981 - Carl Lewis - Long jump
1989 - Hollis Conway - High jump
2007 - Brittany Riley - Weight throw
2008 - Ryan Whiting - Shot put
I believe the next oldest is from 2017.
Rooting for Langon. Some guy named Jeff needs to be put in his place.
I thought MacFarland would win Mile, but third race in two days may be tough
3K will be close between Marco, Birnbaum, Sahlman, and Couttie
I was thinking the women's mile started at 4:10 eastern, but it's 4:10 central time

that's because the meet is in Arkansas
Regardless of it being a slow or fast race, I don’t see Birnbaum being competitive after emptying the tank last night. Couttie has no chance either.
Wow, Peyton Bair breaks Ashton Eaton’s school record in the heptathlon.

Couttie wasn't in the DMR
edit: nevermind. talking about the 3k. yeah, I don't see him coming back from 2 rounds of the mile to do well in the 3k.
Ducks are all boxed in, wth.
Sadie did a good job of getting out, but that was a lot to work through.
10 4:25 runners and this was the race result. SNOOZE

Closed in 58.6. Probably didn't position the best but 3rd in a tactical championship mile is great for a freshman
14 ENORMOUS points for Oregon. This team title might end up closer than expected. Will have to see how the Illinois triple jumpers.
Great work from Longisa. Came apart at the end, but fantastic effort from the super frosh.

wTJ is done, Illinois did not score.
Sadie Engelhardt closes in 28.4 for 3rd. May very well be the fastest last lap ever, at least one of the fastest much like Sahlman’s last night
