It takes a very bitter and small person to single out one athlete and one event. Grow up, mistakes happen on every level of track and field. Either you should have volunteered your services or been able to keep a college coaching job. I have known the coach since the 1970's and know that she can coach. She was successful in high school, on the junior level and on the collegiate level. Let's see your resume! Explain how she developed one of the top distance runners in the nation on the division III level, if she can't coach. Check out the south region times in 2005. How can anything you state be taken as anything other than personal attacks on an athlete who is giving the best of her ability? What level are you certified as a track official? How many ncaa qualifiers have you had? On what level did you compete?
This is a non-issue. The ncaa will take all qualifiers that meet the standard, so noone is left out of the meet. i have had many ncaa qualifiers and seen this happen on the juco, div II and div III levels. If you read track and field news, you will find that these things happen everywhere. Do you have anything real to talk about?
