Just wondering, did Webb just sit on Ritz the whole race or what?

They exchanged leads every 800 meters much of the race, until the last 1200 meters.
thanks

Obviously is right - and I know I can't do a thing about it but I think your username is ugly at best, "Great White Hope", it sounds like a sign the ku klux klan would fly at a meet where craig mottram is running at. To wonder about genetic differences in races is one thing but to say - Great White Hope - just lame
Stop being such a PC whiner. Man up, pussy.
The reason Webb beat Ritz is because his footstike is under his general center of mass preventing the breaking action that comes from landing in front of the gcm like Ritz. I have no doubt that Ritz was the more fit of the two. Watching the video of the race, it is clear that Webb is a more efficient runner. That breaking action really adds up over 25 laps.

I overheard Webb talking to a reporter after the race, and they were talking about how fast his last lap was (sub-61 seconds). Well looks at the reporter and says, "Who cares? I won the race."
Classic Webb.
Race the 10k again Webb?

That would be cool.
