Somehow I'll have access to my own bottles during the race, my thoughts were as follows:
Race starts at 7:00. In college I liked to get up 4hr before to shake out, but with it being this early I was thinking of waking at 3:30, having like a PB&J bagel and a little oatmeal, and then jogging 10 minutes or so. I know sleep the night before isn't likely to be make or break, but I still want at least 6 hours and don't think I can fall asleep too far before 9:30.
Caffeine tablet 30 min before race
UCAN packet on start line (really don't want to carry anything, have had good experience w/ UCAN before)
Tailwind at 8 miles, Maurten 160 broken up into two different bottles at 13.5 and 19.8
Course will have water and Nuun pretty often, I plan to drink Nuun and dump water as often as I can (once it gets hot out there).
I have the opportunity to set out bottles at miles... 3.6, 8, 10.6, 13.5, 16.3, 19.8, 23.1
Does that seem to make sense to you all? This will be my first marathon, ran one before to just see if I could run 26.2 without fueling but for what will certainly be a max effort thought I'd need to up things.
